.there's a cure for all.

recently, i went to Puduraya to fetch the little sis that came back home just to send me off at the airport. how sweet..~

anyways, while waiting for her, i was called to stop by a religion shop which sells religious books on many aspects.

what caught my eye was about a book given the title
'Perubatan Mengikut Al-Quran & Sunnah'.

i have wanted a book that gives the Muslim identity on medical field as the chinese has their own entity on ginseng products.

why not us?

we, as Muslims or narrowly Malays are well-known for bomohs.
why them?

in today's era, i can't deny that people go to them for some black magic.

and of course, the modern medication and drugs would impossibly cure these kind of health that damages internally, and sometimes externally.

well, i would like to share the parts of the content of the book.

i do not simply copy and paste but to try to elaborate what i understood from this book.

as you know, modern technologies still could not be the remedies of some disease or
'penyakit misteri'.

before i continue with the table of contents, there's a story (based on true story) that i want to share among you readers.
when we went to Felda Sri Jaya for the community work, the last day was one of the experience people rarely get.

driving from one house to another to check up on the villagers, most of us discovered weird and interesting cases.

one of them was a father, who told his children and generations to not visit the hospitals for any
medical check ups.
sadly because one of his child had died under the hand of a doctor.

definitely we could not blame the doctor 100% for the death of the patient.

so who do they refer to after that?
yup, the
bomohs.
what if most of the villagers think of that way?

they won't respect doctors anymore and we do not want that to happen.
especially when it comes to those who are unfortunate and not-very-educated on this matter.

interesting facts would be post on any entries from time to time.

readers, comments are welcome.

ideas and views on any subject are very much appreciatted.

some of the summaries i can make here are;
  • Rasulullah SAW strictly forbid people who are laying to eat any kind of foods to avoid keras hati. this gives the meaning of these people are prone to get diseases. scientifically, i have not done research on this, so i could not comment much yet.
  • Anas bin Malik r.a said that Rasulullah SAW drinks and breath one at a time. given the meaning of one breath for a gulp of drink. by this way, it can easily quench our thirst and any pathological condition are possible to be cured.
  • have you heard of sleeping facing to your right side? it's one of the sunnah and one reason stated is because when u lean on your right side, the foods will be in a good position with a bigger stomach and not compressed to the liver. this way it can avoid damage of the liver.
this is so far what i can summarize from the first part of the book.
i hope bits of here and there gives some knowledge to you out there.
if not fully, at least a little.

take care.
see you in Moscow!
